The Parliamentary Monarchy brought tranquility and balance to Spain
The current Head of the Royal House of Spain is HM King D. Felipe VI
It is constituted in the Very Noble, Very Loyal, Very Heroic, Undefeated and Mariana city of Seville, the Association: "Monarchical Chapter of Spain", belonging to the Sovereign and Royal House of Cappadocia and San Bartolomeo, under the Organic Law 1/2002, of March 22 and complementary regulations, has legal capacity and full capacity to act throughout the Spanish territory, without prejudice to being able to carry out actions in other countries, by virtue of agreements or conventions with Associations of similar purposes.
The “Monarchical Chapter of Spain” is an apolitical, non-profit Association; defender of the Spanish Parliamentary Monarchy; it lacks foundational patrimony and the operative capital will be the result of the quotas of its partners.
The Parliamentary Monarchy is a form of government with representative system, where the King performs Head of state under the control of legislative power (Parliament) and del executive power (Government); that is, the King reigns but does not rule (expression due to Adolphe Thiers). The rules and decisions issued from Parliament regulate not only the operation of Condition but also the performance and functions of the King himself.
It is very common, even in the political science literature, to identify it with another type of monarchy, la Constitutional monarchy, although this has a very different characteristic, and that is that it allows a greater capacity and functions to be reserved for the King, who retains a large part of the power, for example, controlling the executive power.
In most of the current Parliamentary Monarchies, the autonomy and powers of the monarch are very limited and curtailed, and Parliament can at any time make decisions that require compliance by the King. The exceptions to these generalized limitations are pure historical reminiscences that are maintained by tradition in some older monarchies, although they usually refer to issues of little importance for the political life of the country. Effective decision-making remains in the Government and in the different chambers of parliamentary representation, which in a parliamentary monarchy are considered the depositories of the popular sovereignty.
In this type of political system, the monarch sanctions the laws and decrees that are presented to him to sign by the Government and Parliament.
The regime of the Association will be determined by the provisions of these Statutes; with its own capacity to act throughout the national territory and wherever its presence is required.
In order to achieve its founding principles, the Spanish Monarchists Chapter will carry out activities aimed at learning about the Spanish monarchy as the best form of Head of State, for this purpose the Chapter will hold conferences, courses, congresses, seminars, meetings..., among other activities
